'The Amazing Spider-Man 3' Casting Call: Andrew Garfield Returns

'The Amazing Spider-Man 3' is moving forward despite rumoured talks between Sony executives about replacing Andrew Garfield as the main lead. A casting call for the movie has emerged on Bill Beckman Casting, hinting that the studio is moving forward with the project. So, Spider-Man fans can either breathe a sigh of relief or get disappointed after reading this.
Before the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sony had slotted in release dates for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 in 2016 and The Amazing Spider-Man 4 in 2018.
However, the third 'Amazing Spider-Man' movie was pushed back from June 10, 2016 to an undetermined date in 2018 after 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' only brought in USD 709 million, the lowest of any Spider-Man movie ever.

Spider-Man 2 was a real disappointment at the box office and the story also failed to win the hearts. Thus, Sony Pictures decided to delay the next installment further.
The fourth installment, meanwhile, is no longer listed on the studio's schedule. Regarding the casting, both Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man) and Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn/Green Goblin) will be returning for another adventure that will see Spidey "facing a new challenge to protect New York City
